Shit man it was probably a sign. It happened to me as well once. I seriously about to kill this dude about 10 years ago (ex gf shit) I had my cuete on me ready if shit went down but I forgot my keys. While I was outside my mom went around to lock the doors of the house for the night and I got locked out. She is wondering what I was doing outside after I knocked on the door to come in. I explained to her and it just sounded dumb and it calmed me down. Needless to say shit ended up going bad where my ex was and people got shot up. Good thing I forgot my keys.
